Students are often confused whilst choosing an academic course or career in fashion with no previous academic background or experience during their high school. The Fashion Foundation gives them the opportunity to experience various subjects, pathways and career options thus giving them a clear direction on their future academic decisions.

The one year part-time foundation in fashion is ideal for those looking to pursue further education in one of the many fields in fashion. Students get an opportunity to understand, explore and experience subjects across the fashion whilst pursuing 11th standard or any other qualification simultaneously.

The course also unifies learning on global fashion taught by tutors with international exposure and opportunities to garner unparalled expsoure through the FAD Europe tour & the semester abroad opportunities.

Students engage on practically tutored modules helping build their creative skills and develop a strong portfolio of work across fashion. By the end of the course, students would have explored all avenues in fashion and can progress to various Under Graduate qualifications both at FAD International Academy as well as at external Indian and international universities. ​Faculties from various universities also visit FAD International to facilitate admissions & provide details and evaluate portfolios. Students have an opportunity to apply to various European Universities across Italy, France & UK and are assisted by the Creative Universities Application Centre on campus.

Students have an opportunity to pursue a semester abroad at some of the leading fashion universities. Students can choose to study in Italy, UK or France for 3 to 6 months and receive a dual certification for the semester spent at the international institution. Students are assisted on the formalities

including the visas by our team. Students can decide on the term transfer midway through the course as well.

Students having passed 10th, O Levels or equivalent with a Foundation in Art & Design will be considered based on an interview.
