FAD students participate in the second edition of ‘Through The Lens’, a live project by Cartier.

At FAD, industry exposure is at the heart of its curriculum. Renowned for its timeless craftsmanship and innovation, Cartier has long been a pioneer in the luxury industry, continuously evolving while redefining luxury.

Cartier recently worked with FADTalents on a live project 'Through The Lens', offering students from PG Luxury & Fashion Management and UG Fashion Business at the Mumbai and Pune campuses an exclusive opportunity.

As part of the project, students were tasked with developing a business proposal for Cartier - focusing on deepening customer relationships and conceptualizing India-inspired exclusive pieces that resonates with the local audience, alongside a launch strategy.

The project began with an online briefing, followed by one-on-one feedback sessions with Cartier’s leadership, helping students refine their concepts.

The final presentations were held at the FAD campus, where an esteemed jury from Cartier evaluated the proposals - including Gaetan Guillosson (Country Manager), Aastha Dubey (HR Manager), Jaya Venugopal (International Talent Acquisition & University Engagement Director), and Theres Gruber (Talent Manager, MEIAT).

After an intense round of presentations and deliberations, Team Noor was declared the winner. As a reward for their exceptional insights, the team was invited to an exclusive lunch at Trident BKC, Mumbai, where they had the opportunity to engage with Cartier’s senior management and gain valuable industry exposure.

Through live projects with global luxury houses, students gain firsthand experience tackling industry challenges while engaging with professionals.
